Recruitment Fraud and Job Scam Alert

At Mashgin, we’re aware that scammers sometimes impersonate company representatives as part of fraudulent recruiting schemes. These scams can involve fake job postings or unsolicited messages that claim to be from Mashgin, often asking for personal information, payments, or interviews via unofficial channels.

We want to help you protect yourself. Please review the information below to understand how to identify a scam and what you can expect from a legitimate Mashgin hiring process.

How to Spot a Scam

Recruitment fraud can take many forms. Be cautious if you encounter any of the following:

  • You’re asked to pay for equipment, background checks, or training. Mashgin will never ask job candidates to send money or purchase anything during the hiring process.
  • You receive an offer without a formal interview. We conduct real interviews with our team before making any offers.
  • The email is from a suspicious or non-company domain. All official Mashgin emails come from @mashgin.com. Be wary of lookalike domains like @mashgincareers.com or @mashginjobs.net.
  • You’re contacted via messaging apps or personal email. We may reach out via LinkedIn, but all serious conversations will shift to official email or scheduled video calls.

What You Can Expect from Mashgin

Here’s what our hiring process looks like:

  • Application through our official careers page or LinkedIn.
  • Email correspondence from a @mashgin.com address.
  • Structured interviews with members of our team.
  • A written offer only after completing interviews.

If you’re ever unsure whether a message is legitimate, feel free to reach out to us at careers@mashgin.com.
